Passions

One things I am incredibly passionate about is giving back. Nothing fills your heart more than knowing you’ve made a small ((or large)) difference in someone’s life. Here are a few organizations that I support::

This website allows you to pay a small fee of $38 a month to sponsor a child in need. It is a faith-based organization fueled with love. My sponsor child is Ariane Mae and I sincerely hope I can meet her one day and let her know how much she matters.

Some may think I’m a tad crazy about this one but it is truly a passion for me. Compassion in World Farming is an organization that seeks out just that. Compassion. Our major meat companies churn out so much to meet demand and it’s causing all of the animals to be abused and neglected. We have the right to know where our meat is coming from.

This is also dear to my heart after following the news in this country for over a year now. Darfur is a region in Sudan that is being wiped out because of genocide. There are other areas too, of course. There are too many lives that have been lost and too much time has passed. Advocacy is the way out.

Most already know what this organization is about. Saving animals from cruelty and neglect. It is wonderful as far as I am concerned and they do some amazing things. I am a huge advocate for spaying and neutering animals and that is a mission of theirs.

This organization is centered around providing clean, filtered water to underdeveloped countries. Clean water might not seem like a big deal to those of us who have access to it. For these people, it is literally a matter of life or death. The reason I chose this charity over others was because they pledge to send absolutely 100% of their profits and donations directly to these projects. Access to clean water is something that every human being should be provided with.
